EVOC Care Training Needs Analyser

ECTNA is an online tool available to Voluntary/Private and Public Sector care providers in Scotland.  

For Childrens Day Care; Childrens Residential; Adult Day Care; Adult Residential; Housing Support; Domiciliary Care; and other non registered services eg. Befriending; Dementia Day Care

 ECTNA is designed to make a complex area simpler to manage for

  • small organisations with little or no HR support
  •  Care managers/HR staff  with responsibility for staff learning and development remit

Using ECTNA you can-

  • Provide information on the learning requirements for learning & development plans.
  • Provide  information on the Post Holder learning requirements for recruitment & identifying new learning relating to service user needs
  • Provide evidence for the board/management committee/stakeholders on the learning needs of the organisation.
  • Provide evidence for Care Commission inspection
  • Provide evidence for funding applications and negotiations.
  • provide information on renewal dates who needs to do what, when , including registration/disclosure etc

Before you register to use the system, we can provide you with a free online trial of the system. Access is provided to a dummy organisation allowing you to try out the system. Access is provided for 10 days at which point, you can then register for your own account on the system by following the steps below

Macro (>251 employees) £300

*FREE use till March 2011  Voluntary organisations (SME) providing services in East, West, Mid Lothians; Scottish Borders and Edinburgh. This is funded by the Big lottery through the South East Scotland Workforce Development Project.

To Register:

  1. Complete our online registration form
  2. You will receive email confirmation of your registration.
  3. EVOC will issue confirmation paperwork, terms and conditions and invoice you.
  4. On return of the signed paperwork, EVOC will set your access to the system live
